5 for Friday – SPECIAL EDITION!!

It’s been a while since I have posted a 5 for Friday! So it only seemed right that this Friday needed to be a special one!

There are a few amazing ladies whose Blogs I follow that ran Boston this year. Today I want to share their Boston Marathon Reviews with you so that you can follow along with them as well. I also took it upon myself to find another runner & blog to start following. I love finding new amazing blogs to add to my list. I am inspired and motivated daily by these ladies and was so happy that they were able to run Boston during such an impactful year!

Boston – The Details from Katie Edwards: MsFit Runner
Katie is an incredible runner and she is so close to hitting her Olympic Trials Qualifier! She did an amazing job on this course and despite the heat she ROCKED IT!!

As I was reading Jenny’s recap I was so happy for her. Even though she felt like it wasn’t her best race she pushed through and came through with what I think is a killer time. The heat seemed to be rough on everyone but that couldn’t dampen Jenny’s race.

From the title of this post you might not expect to read a positive recap but it was. I love Jess’s outlook and the fact she didn’t even wear a watch. She went there to be part of the experience instead of killing herself during the race. Love It!!

Thank you for including me in this list! I haven’t read all of these recaps yet, but I’ll definitely be catching up with all these ladies this weekend (or procrastinating later today).

I want to run Boston so bad! It’s on my race bucket list, but I have no idea what the qualifying time for my age group is…guess I better check into that :).
